Thursday Feb 04, 2021
Thursday Feb 04, 2021
Coach C. Collins is back at it to help give his experience of coaching methods and tactics that can hopefully help you to grow in the game of basketball. Todays topic is what exactly is a "Foul" in the game of basketball, as defined by the standards of the NFHS handbook. Also, how to communicate to official as as a coach in the correct way by using terminology to help advocate for your players to get notice of fouls happening on the court. It would surprise you see how many parents, coaches and players do not actually have a firm grasp on the actual definition of a foul and hopefully this episode can help shed some light on the subject.

Coach C. Collins is back at it to help give his experience of coaching methods and tactics that can hopefully help you to grow in the game of basketball. With watching how social media has transformed the dynamic of relationships in the U.S it does pose the question, should athletes have relationships? This might be a hot topic to talk about but as a coach you will often see the effects of a toxic or thriving personal life affect your athletes.
So the question becomes how will you deal with it? This episode I give a bit of insight into my opinions on the topic.
